madeline has taken over jack's chair and quietly proclaimed herself the new queen in the house. however, she is a bit more gracious than the prior reigning monarch, and politely jumps down when a member of her human family places their bottom next to her.

ReplyDeleteReminds me of a discussion we had about an afterlife for animals the other day. The Catholic church does not think there is one because animals have not "interest" in one to put it simply, but we were musing about if maybe there will be one after all.
