breakfast at the museum

we were up early this morning for a member's breakfast at the natural history museum.

i signed up for this a month ago. normally, we all have different activities on a saturday morning, but everything had ended by this june 14th day. even korrina was available.

they offered coffee, tea, donuts and milk . .

and a free viewing of their new planetarium movie: dark universe.

korrina stayed to view the power of poison exhibition before meeting her uu friends (reunion in central park at the alice statue), while two of us went home . . and two of us went to the ballet.

  1. Without reading the captions, I thought the "items" where you wrote about the movie were washing machines in a laundromat!

    2. So nice you could all go together and look at the washing-machines! No, I am serious, it must be nice to do something as a family once in a while.

We had our "last" family outing today. Peter is leaving for Europe tomorrow.

    4. One month, he will fly to Switzerland first and then to Vienna again. He will meet my parents in Vienna and my mother's cousin and uncle in Switzerland.

    6. He met with a professor of literature so far. Today he also went to see my mother's cousin. She had baked him a cake, they went hiking and then swimming in her swimming pool. They had dinner outside on her deck, overlooking Lake Neuchâtel. He sent me pictures and it stirred many memories in me because I used to do those things! Tomorrow he will visit my great uncle before starting his first conference/seminar in Neuchâtel.
