cards chanda made for the lighting designer, phil, and her teacher, ellen.
so today chanda and i ushered for ellen's noon show, and then it was time for morgana's show. it was a special time this year, as ellen had five students graduating. here morgana poses with lina and korrina and members of the limon company, whom she and lina danced with when they were ten . . eight years ago! it feels like just yesterday. how does time do that? it was very moving for them as they've watched lina, morgana (and korrina) grow up through these years.
the picture kept growing as more and more dancers . . and ellen . . were drawn in.

we took morgana's flowers and poster and costumes home with us while she went out. we had sorbet and watched an anthony bourdain episode on netflix. we watched him interview the owner of noma in copenhagen. it was rather interesting!
now i better go to sleep. i'm so tired i can hardly write.
In a way a sad day, but exciting how you watched them grow and develop to what they are now! I'm glad they were really celebrated on this special day.
