i listened to an online lecture from hunter college at noon today. mychal denzel smith spoke about his book, stakes is high: life after the american dream, with author valeria luiselli. it was very interesting and i worked on my moving forward wrap while greg had a sandwich.
i went for a walk with janet at 4:00 . .
we sat by cooper union for a little while, waiting to check an apartment one of her tenants was vacating (she's a small landlord and has a building in the east village).
all was in good order. she was happy the man had it cleaned.
onward to new adventures . .
we stopped by jefferson market garden on the way home. it's so nice to walk through.
our england is a garden that is full of stately views,
of borders, beds and shubberies and lawns and avenues,
with statues on the terraces and peacocks strutting by,
but the glory of the garden lies in more than meets the eye.
