korrina was up late packing her bag for her visit to buffalo to see her friend kat (they were in each other's essay writing class at the new school this past fall). it wasn't easy fitting in four outfits (one was eliminated), two knitting projects, her spindle, her computer, and who knows what else! this morning she was up early to pack a sandwich, apples, carrots and pita chips for the eight hour train ride.
at the amtrak waiting area in penn. after i took this pic, we went down to get a chai latte (for k) and a decaf coffee (for me), to help pass the time.
it was good she was watching the board for the entrance information. she was able to get on the line quickly. when i turned around after watching her go through the ticket checkpoint, the line reached across the room!
back at home, after i had visited whole foods for some groceries, morgana put together a delicious lunch while i walked jack. (this is morgana's photo of the lunch table).
