princeton adventure

 chanda and i were out of the house at 6:30 am this morning. we drove out to princeton for her to attend an audition class with american repertory ballet. i was incredibly thankful that greg was able to fix the rear left blinker yesterday. it's been broken for two months now, and i would have felt even more stressed than i was, driving along the new jersey turnpike, if i didn't have a proper working blinker.

 heading into class . . 

 princeton is a nice town, though the commute there isn't the easiest. 

 i read my book and knitted on my shawl in a nearby coffee shop while waiting for her.

 the class went until 10:30, and then she talked with the director and a few of the dancers for a little bit afterwards. she has a few other auditions coming up, so we'll just see how it goes.

 lemon meringue treats and green tea . . 

 i'm always happy to head home . . 

and see the new york city skyline grow in stature along the horizon.

 i truly find it very unnerving and surreal to be flying through the air. i handled it much better when i was younger. here she took a pic of another plane flying alongside of us.

happy to be home! (we took the air train from the terminal to long term parking where we had left the car).
