my friend janet gave me many brown themed gifts! she knows it's one of my favorite colors. the jars hold homemade herbal tea blends; the yarn is a special alpaca from the dutchess county sheep and wool festival, and the book is one she really enjoyed reading and wanted to share.
morgana and chanda surprised me with a pie plate from sturbridge! i love the redware that the potters make and fire there. they have a large old kiln that is fired up several times a year with items for the store. they also have a new kiln in the basement for firing students' projects . . and they probably do several store firings there as well.
i've been saying for years that i would make my sister a vest . .
