time to mow the lawn

rhododendrons in bloom at the house . .

and maybe azalea?

 

greg did the sides and the back lawn and i did the front lawn . . it was very chilly all day! i only brought my sweat shirt and could have really used my sweater. i had to borrow socks from greg because i didn't think to bring any.

i had clams with the bellies with french fries and cole slaw . . (and we shared a new england clam chowder though we had asked for manhattan . . at the last visit we asked for new england and received manhattan . . ).

breakfast in the morning was oatmeal and a leftover chocolate croissant.

the poor azalea, fern and lavender plants were hidden behind huge weeds, so i cleaned it up and weeded the walkway (and also wiped out the clean stove yesterday, did a load of towels, and mended the tablecloth and the goose's neck (the door stop).

we were on the road early as we had to get back to help ellen with load-in to the theatre.

all set for a busy week . . 

dinner with greg and moustache afterwards . . (i had the delicious filo dough stuffed with basmati rice, chicken, raisins, onions, carrots peas, almonds and spices, and served with a yogurt sauce).
