i drove home today from connecticut and met korrina for dinner at prune. we've been wanting to visit this restaurant for awhile. it was nice to take advantage of korrina's "vacation" from work to go!
the food was so incredibly delicious.

chef gabrielle hamilton opened the restaurant in 1999. "prune" is the french word for plum, and was her mom's pet name for her.
i couldn't resist getting the oyster chowder!
creme brulée . .
it was the featured dessert of the evening and we kept smelling the aroma of the carmelized topping as they lit it for each customer as the night went on.
it was a cold night!!
we passed the japanese muji store when walking to the train. she had never been in before so we took a peek.
