"we began our morning at gail's again, korrina, greg and i. morgan stayed back at the apartment to finish her laundry. after gail's we hopped on the #19 bus to the v and a along the fulham road which led into the cromwell road (i'm reading ballet shoes which all took place in this neighborhood). it was fun to see the south kensington tube station from the vantage point of the top deck . . seeing where we sat on our first morning at that small gail's on cromwell place across from the ampersand. we got off just past the victoria and albert where we wandered for three glorious hours. . . from the knitted and embroidered garments and lacework to the raphael cartoons . . to the turner and constable paintings and to a special beatrix potter exhibit . ."
i decided to try something different this morning . . salmon with chives instead of salami and cornichon.

i always wonder how dusty these get . . and how are they cleaned?
i loved this room with its stone heads and warm, brown wood and comfortable bench to sit and rest and knit.
