chanda has been preparing for a competition in missoula, montana that takes place in january. her new private teacher helps put it together and asked chanda to compete. she is preparing a classical piece, a contemporary piece (on pointe) and a modern piece. the contemporary piece is a reworking of one of her ellen's dances, so she had to create a new piece to cover the modern category.
this piece was inspired by another student of ellen's in her modern class.
