knitting projects . . dinner and the moon

 pluto camped out on my moving forward wrap this afternoon when i laid it out for a photo. he loves the smell of the woolly yarn.

 

this is a hat i made by a designer who likes to give short meditative zoom retreats to help promote her in person retreats. she's based in france and is very sweet . . and has lovely patterns.

this is how one's twenty year old loads the dishwasher when she's in a hurry to get out of the house. one glass is on it's side and the other is face up . . the better to catch the dishwater, i suppose.

such a difficult life . .

i visited the local italian pork store today, and came away with manicotti and sauce. i added sautéed eggplant and tomatoes. greg and i thought that the last time we probably had this meal was when my mom made it for us years ago. 

 

we also had prosciutto balls . . 

denise bayron has been hosting weekly zoom meetings for those of us who are knitting the moving forward wrap. it's been fun participating. each of us can take a turn sharing, if we like, and it's been nice getting to know each other.

my wrap is coming along slowly . . but surely.

i tried to take a pic of the moon this evening, through the window. the bottom two lights are reflections on the window of i'm not sure what . . the blurry white dot is the moon, and above the moon is a little sliver of mars.
