i received a package from san and family the other day in the mail, and i finally opened it yesterday when everyone was out and i had the apartment to myself (except for madeline meowing by the door . . incessantly . . ). the wrapping paper is so cute that i trimmed the edges and put it away to use for the girls one day.
it was a birthday gift . .
. . the loveliest summer scarf, incredibly light, long and airy. the colors make me think of greece . . turquoise and gold. thank you so much san . . i know i'll really enjoy wearing this on my excursions around the city!

morgana has been visiting friends in dorset, southwest of london, but
the photo above looks like a house in the hamptons to me. (i suppose
dorset is allowed to have modern, beach-like houses).
