chanda and morgana lobbied to ride the chester-hadlyme ferry across the connecticut river to get home.
it's really a beautiful ride, and you can see gillette castle on a hill on the eastern shore.
at home we had cake and tea and coffee and gave him the picture of montauk's lighthouse we had bought together the last time we were out there. the photographer sends his camera up in a balloon to get the aerial photo you see.
