mowing time again at the house again . . (we drove out sunday morning, the second of july)
we first had a zoom meeting with korrina, morgan and chanda.
chocolate that chanda gave me for my birthday . .
monday morning breakast . .
and two cats looking for crumbs . .
it was a real summer beach day. we arrived in the early afternoon and by 4:30 it was very busy.
i worked on my pure joy shawl . .
and read the book kendall gave me for my birthday . .
and sketched in my nature journal . .
and went for a walk . .
greg even came with me.
it was such a beautiful day.
dinner at hooked . .
fish and chips . .
nighttime cat activity (i find it cute that they sometimes like to crawl into their carrier) . .
i have no idea what cricket found to eat on the chair . . hopefully, just some food crumbs? and greg must have had a cup of coffee next to him on the table that he didn't want cricket to touch.
----
tuesday morning . .
i went for a swim at the little cove beach. you can tell by the way greg is dressed that it was a little chilly that day.
such a beautiful sky . .
lunch with the cats . .
in the evening we went to ditch just when a storm began to come through . .
while a steady stream of tired beach goers traipsed past us to the parking lot . . and several surfers walked by, taking their place on the beach and in the water.
i was glad i had my sweatshirt to wear as it was cold! greg bundled up in the towels.
the storm stayed to the west of us and we had just a sprinkling of rain . .
and then it cleared up again.
back at the house . .
the deer like to lounge in the grass in the yard . .
waiting for the fireworks display to start . .
it's difficult to see her, but zuzu is hidden in the shadow of the top kitchen cabinet. she did not like the fireworks at all. meanwhile, cricket sat right by the screen door and looked out at us.

a foggy wednesday morning . .
greg set up his work space . .
a mango lassi for the trip home . .
