march for our lives

it was really a beautiful day for a demonstration, not too cold and not too hot, with lovely sunshine. we walked uptown from 42nd street, along broadway and amsterdam avenue to the museum of natural history at 80th street where we passed lines of people waiting to join the march on central park west.

we went further north to about 84th or 85th street and then joined the march as the crowd turned right onto CPW . .

here we're passing the natural history museum . .

and the new york historical society . .

and fourth unitarian universalist church . .

 the dakota . .

don't forget to vote!

we then walked from 34th street along 7th avenue to 12th street and greenwich avenue . .

for coffee at the village den restaurant . .

 and omelettes.

it was very sunny . .

it felt great to be back in the neighborhood.
