it being christmastime, chanda and i walked to l. a. burdick cafe, for a hot chocolate (i also had to pick up some felt and thread from purl soho for the craft fair).
it always looks so festive at this time of year, with the quantity of white lights they put up.
this is a hazelnut almond cake. i don't think it has any wheat, but it does have sugar! i love the delicate chocolate toadstool on top.
