yes, chanda arrived home this evening. it was exciting to pick her up from the airport. i was reminded of the times from when i was six and we would go to the twa building to meet my aunt evie who had just moved to california. the anticipation was overwhelming and that's how it was tonight. it was so good to see her.
the big find!
proud of the "dub" dublin tag. she said the view from the air was breathtaking.
at home, after dinner (of course she was hungry even though we had purchased a meal for her to have on the plane), gifts from norway and lancaster were pulled from the suitcase and they were just wonderful. san had sent cookies from lindisfarne and coffee from lancaster and beautiful japanese knot bags that she had made. i'll have to take pictures tomorrow. thank you so much san! there were so many stories to share but we were all so tired that we couldn't keep our eyes open and finally had to get ready for bed.

And Chanda is wearing the dress and top via our daughter Kathryn!! She looked stunning in it! So glad that you are happy with the gifts... I hope she remembered to give you that hug and kiss from me!! Xxx
ReplyDeleteYes, she did :) And the dress is so pretty! xoxoxo
DeleteSo exciting having her back! I'm sure she will tell you a lot of stories over the next days....
