korrina's viking necklace from norway, from morgana and chanda . . and one of san's japanese knot project bags.
these bags are so pretty, and k and i will enjoy stuffing them with our knitting . . .
for thursday morning breakfast, chanda's first morning back, we made scrambled eggs and roasted tomatoes on crumpets sent by san. the breakfast itself is one chanda had with san and family. she went on and on about how delicious it was.
k and i concurred . . very delicious!
it as followed by tea and biscuits that chanda found in a store in richmond, where she had her ballet intensive.
korrina's gift from san waiting to be opened . . and seeds from norway.
shortbread fingers from san and my project bag . . (i just love it! thanks san!)
tea from fortnum and mason, the butter biscuits from richmond, and tea from norway.
brochures from places they visited in norway which morgana sent home with chanda, as she knew i would like to see them. thank you, morgana!

Glad you liked the presents and the breakfast. When I made the tomato topping. I chopped the tomatoes in half and sautéed them in oil in a stove top pan. The tomatoes burst and caramelised and formed a thick, rich sauce with some tomatoes still intact. Putting a lid on the pan accelerated the process! Hope this makes sense!!
ReplyDeleteHoping to send you some muffins in your Christmas parcel!!
Love to you all
San and co xxxx
