tuesday in southampton

chanda and i were up early this morning to drive to southampton to be with my mom and dad for my dad's cataract surgery. their friend drove them to the hospital, and we drove them back home afterwards.

 there's always a lot of waiting around . . 

 chanda decided to show nana how to text with her phone . . 

  

unfortunately, my dad may need surgery again tomorrow. when the doctor was removing the cataract, the surrounding posterior capsule exploded causing a piece of cataract to fall behind his lens. in order to get this piece out, he will need to visit a specialist. so, we'll be up early again tomorrow . .
