morgana's birthday party is sunday and she has been busy making prizes for the treasure hunt she wants to have in prospect park. the children will be divided into groups of three and there are prizes for first, second, third and fourth place. one of the prizes is a stationary kit (work in progress above).

and i traipsed to the east village to get 16 glass jars of black cat
india ink as part of the party favor (along with a feather quill pen, 16 of which should hopefully arrive in the mail on friday). it was a very warm walk. it's been in the upper 80's with 96 percent humidity.
we had a nice dinner all together, of niman ranch burgers and a salad.
The party sounds like lots of fun! I like your party favors idea. Hopefully the pens will arrive on time.
