today was an exhausting day. it rained and rained and we had to drive from riverhead to syosset hospital for my dad to have vitreo-retinal surgery to remove the leftover cataract piece. as we were leaving, chanda spotted a brown rabbit on the hospital's front lawn.
we were all very tired when we got home. chanda was looking forward to having lemon meringue pie.
i even had a slice.
