summer blue on a vegetable pick-up day

korrina dyed her hair this week . . it's now a festive summer blue.

she's also working on a pair of bright green socks dyed by alexcreates that i picked up at the lionbrand yarn store on 15th street.

they look very summery to me . .

it was so windy today that it felt like march to me. dust and plastic bags were blowing around, and my hair kept sweeping into my face (i didn't have anything to tie it back with). there was a conference going on, and the folders with the attendees information sheets kept blowing open and flying away. people were eating box lunches in the plaza and paper napkins kept escaping. my allergies are acting up and i have terribly itchy eyes and a runny nose. greg thinks it's pollution . . i think it's a combination of that with the pollen in the air.

walking back through madison square park, i passed a sing for hope piano from the broadway show wicked. it's supposed to be out until june 24th. i wish it would go on even longer.

it's always fun walking by and hearing the music people play . .
