at chocnyc for cappuccino and chocolate and macaroons. we were also up here in inwood to sign chanda up for driving lessons. the driving school is right across the street.
they have so many goodies . . however, they don't warm up their pain au chocolate pastries! i never understand why many of these "new" cafes don't warm pastry for patrons. they have delicious looking apple strudel, but i haven't felt inclined to have it cold, perhaps because i'm usually at the cafe on cold days. maybe if i go on a hot summer's day, eating cold strudel would be nice.
you can watch them bake all their cakes, cookies and pies.
after dropping off several lighting accoutrements in chelsea to the friend of the lighting designer, we made it home . .
where we watched old ellen movies for a few hours . .

after dinner we had the lemon meringue pie that we had brought home from the cafe.
