povera hermione had to have a large growth removed from her bottom today. it was major cat surgery and we were all a bit nervous about it, but she came through it very well. she has a painkiller that she gets for a few days, and they gave her an antibiotic before sending her home. she had had the growth for over a year, and it just kept getting larger and more red. now i'm very relieved that it's gone.
Charlotte told us about the growth. I am so glad that all went fine. Is she on a special diet now for a while?
ReplyDeleteShe's been able to eat all her regular wet food. The vet just had me take her off of the dry food, as one of her kidneys is weakening. She's been quieter these past few days, though she still has a good appetite. Maybe she's just feeling achy from the surgery.
