i sat in on chanda's physical therapy session this morning, to try and understand better what is happening with her foot. she sprained it at the steps dance center (coming down their stairs rather than taking the elevator) in october, and it's still giving her problems when she goes on pointe. she's supposed to attend the abt audition on sunday, but i think she's decided not to. basically, she pulled a tendon and it's taking a long time to heal while also causing a problem for her third metatarsal. while giving her special exercises to help that particular tendon, her therapist is also trying to get her to walk more properly in parallel position so it isn't strained by walking turned out.
she went to visit a friend afterwards (charlotte attended an early afternoon steps class and both met at miss irene's late afternoon class) and i walked to downtown yarns . . (it was in the 20's today . . it was a very cold walk!) . .
and then to doma for strudel with marisa . .
and then visited sweet minerva in the evening, as kendall is away.
