chicken soup made by greg . . morgana spent another day in bed with a fever and since i had to run out, greg made chicken soup for all of us.
i was out early in the morning to pick chanda up from her birthday sleepover party and to take her to the next birthday party . . tsameret and moriah's 8th birthday party.
morgana had put together a puppet show, "akimba and the magic cow . . " but chanda and i set it up, and chanda worked the puppets while lucia read the story, since morgana was stuck at home. two parties missed! definitely not a great weekend for her . . it was a small party, and lucia put together a delicious feast. i'm always happy to eat others' cooking . .
the girls in their american girl nightgowns with matching gowns for their dolls . . (we gave them a cicely barker fairy jewelry box, and the latest magic treehouse book . . )
at home i crawled into bed with morgana as i was feeling a bit under the weather myself! and i enjoyed a cup of greg's delicious chicken soup . .
we talked him into playing a round of "authors" with us . .
and i won! (by collecting all of morgana's cards at the very end . . i went from zero books to . . four books).
