i was up early to make four quiche this morning. chanda and morgana helped grate cheese and crack eggs. we had an early sunday visit with friends . . we were supposed to get together for dinner, but it's been such a busy spring that it was decided to have breakfast together instead (children in the city can be a little too busy . . in my humble opinion . . but maybe this is children everywhere these days?)

our friends were supposed to ride downtown on their bicycles . . but i think they slept longer than they intended, and so took a taxi instead.
it was very cool this morning . . 45 degrees.
but the sun was shining so everyone was out jogging, walking, running around the park . .
broccoli, bacon and cheddar quiche . . we also made a goat cheese and leek quiche, which was our favorite.

korrina baked the quiche for us while we were out at the playground.
I understand the title of the game "Fang mich," but what is it? The quiche looks good :).
