walking jack in a hurricane

thankfully, the winds and rain have quieted down now. it really howled all night. our mulberry trees look very weary, and it's branches hang disconsolately outside the living room window. but i think all branches are intact. jack had to be walked this morning, and since it was quieter, it wasn't half as bad as trying to walk him in a blizzard.

aahh, the necessary drying off . .

  1. I'm glad you came through without any troubles. Really looked very worrying on the news!
(But - poor Jack. Really doesn't like all the water, does he?)

  2. hello christine, i'm so relieved it all came through alright. it did look very worrying on the news! greg told me to stop looking at it on the computer. i didn't sleep well . . the storm really played itself out during the night. by this morning the winds and rain had lessened.

jack is funny! we saw a french bulldog today who was trotting along in the rain, very happy and sprightly! jack plods along like it's torture!

i think you are home now? i remember wondering if your flight would be alright. i hope all is well with you and you had a wonderful time in san francisco!
