we met our friends today at the lake, and then went blueberry picking afterwards at rose's berry farm.
it's always a miracle when the bucket fills, and we manage not to eat all the berries before they go in!

we took showers at home to cool off and take the dust off, and relaxed with a book before dinner. jack was happy to join us.
my sister pulled out her wonderful world encyclopedia set and the girls have been enjoying reading them.
