chanda did not fall asleep and morgana rolled in after midnight.
she arrived wrapped in the aroma of vermont and bearing gifts for her little sister and vegetables for us all . . postcards and colored pencils, cucumbers, cabbage, basil (lemon thai . . oh yum), mint and . . coriander! (which is now drying out on the fire escape).
she had taken her guitar with her to practice as this morning she woke to . . a guitar lesson! her teacher has been traipsing around uruguay, studying with a special teacher, and he was home in nyc for only two days before flying off again to israel. ahhhhh!
jack always enjoys these home music lessons . . (sigh) . . for the first thirty minutes i have to babysit him to keep him out of the way. he likes to get in on the action and keeps knocking down the music stand.
chanda has been in a coloring pictures mode. she likes to listen to the narnia series on cd as she works.
the postcards make really nice thank you notes to friends and family . .
. . and we were all home for dinner . .
