chanda had her swimming lesson this morning, so we all went down to relax in the sun and watch her swim.
chanda swims laps and works on her strokes.
morgana worked on one of nana's afghan squares (shh! it's a secret!) while i read the magic summer, by noel streatfeild.
we're also reading books on our own . . chanda has been making her way through the redwall series by brian jacques.
north of the lake, just next to the beach area, is a marsh with cattails that they put in to help keep the lake clean.
chanda decided to relax for a little bit on the inflatable and on the grass.
ah! she's reading the long patrol, by brain jacques . . who knows what number it is in the series that never ends!
