  1. Happy Birthday, Chanda! Charlotte is just a few weeks older than you are. It's funny to know that you are so close in age, that you both take ballet classes, went to Waldorf playgroup, and are homeschooled. Charlotte was born in Indiana, though. Only her younger siblings were born in New York. Wishing you a terrific new year. Love from all of us here.

  2. What a wonderful birthday you had Chanda... such a busy and fun fulled day. I loved the shot of you and Morgana apple peeling in your PJ's!! and the photo of you with your sisters at the end is just lovely. No wonder you and mum had a quiet day today!

As always Dorina, I love reading your posts, I get an interesting snapshot of New York living.

    Hugs San and co xx

  5. Indiana Dunes State Park is very close to where my in-laws live now and so we have visited there quite often. When we lived in Indiana, we used to drive up to Michigan (Warren Dunes). When I was pregnant with Jonathan, Peter and I went on a hike through the woods and over the dunes. That was a very foolish thing to do for a pregnant woman. I overestimated my strength and was utterly exhausted afterwards. Did you grow up in Indiana?

hi eva, no, i grew up on long island. but, i traveled through indiana with my family when i was in high school. walking over those dunes would be exhausting to do while pregnant!
