i was feeling a little under the weather today and, thus, was slow getting the day going. morgana flew out to a babysitting job after doing spelling with me, and chanda and i . . . hmmmm . . . managed to have tea and curl up for a little harry potter reading before getting dressed to go to her physical therapy session. she didn't even do her violin. greg met us in front of the therapy building, and then i went to meet morgana. she was rehearsing for ellen's show at new york live arts. then she had her modern dance class, and i went with chanda to her ballet class. korrina is still at rehearsal. i think she finishes at 11. i hope to be asleep by then!
by day the blue will pale down into white where it touches the white of the land, after sunset it has a new circumference-orange, melting upwards into tenderest purple. but the core of blue persists, and so it is by night. then the stars hang like lamps from the immense vault. the distance between the vault and them is as nothing to the distance behind them, and that farther distance, though beyond colour, last freed itself from blue. -e.m. forster (a passage to india)

Sometimes you just need a slow day! I hope you got a good sleep.
ReplyDeletehello christine! i do feel much better this morning. thank goodness. there's so much to do!
ReplyDeleteNothing like a good cup of tea and cake to "put the world to rights". Glad you are feeling better today, I'm not surprised you were feeling below par, you and your girls lead a very busy life!
ReplyDeleteSara's college is called "Myerscough College", they have students from as far afield as America and it is a half hour drive from our home. She still lodges with us at home so her daily commute on the bus one way is just under an hour.
I enjoyed my make and cake. Hope you have a lovely restful(?) weekend.
Hugs San and co xx
