this morning morgana and i set out with chanda for ballet class. it was observation day.
our first visit was to moomah cafe . . also our last since we won't be walking by here anymore . .
the view out the classroom window. chanda said that sometimes the tour buses would roll by and point to the dancers through the window. she would find it very distracting . . !
she had six classes today: core dynamics, technique, stretch, pointe, repertory, and character. we viewed technique (where i took the most pictures) . .

morgana and i took a break when chanda had stretch class and lunch. we walked to billy's bakery just around the corner and had a cookie and milk (they always serve organic, which is nice). it looks as if we had some banana bread from home also! i also had to go to the nearby drug store and buy batteries (and new tape . . to keep it closed) for my camera, as my rechargeables died.

i think they both had a really fun time, though i know chanda will be happy to again have empty days that she can fill with reading the books she loves . . (redwall, chronicles of narnia) . .
