  2. We had Brussels sprouts today. Did you compost your jack-o-lantern already? Those cats are very curious. What kind of curtains did you get?

    1. I love roasted brussel sprouts. Yes, our jack o'lanterns don't last long when the weather is warm. i even had him in the refrigerator until i could get to the green market. they turn moldy quick and begin to leak pumpkin juice which gets everywhere. We picked up a shade - a black out blind so the room can be dark at night if morgan doesn't want the bright street lights shining in.

    2. I always steam and mix them with butter and a touch of brown sugar and salt. Our pumpkins get bad outside too, especially this year, but the girls were hoping to keep them until their big siblings come home.
