treats

morgan and i took the kittens for a check up at our local veterinarian. i was a little worried about cricket since he's been a bit picky about his food and much slower at eating than his sister. both of them have their adult teeth coming in, and cricket's gums are a little inflamed. afterwards, we stopped for ice cream at van leeuwen on west 10th street. i pass it all the time but rarely stop . . and they have such good ice cream! today i had honeycomb and chocolate, and morgan had pistachio and strawberry.

back at home cricket decided to climb up to the topmost shelf of the bookcase.

    1. No, he was fine. We'll just keep tabs on his gums and the new teeth that are coming in.

  2. Oh, Julius did that once: We had taken him to the vet and he hated it. When we came back home, he ran across the street and climbed a huge fir tree!

  3. I know I am late coming to this post, but cannot believe how warm the weather was in New York
On my flight to Sydney from Perth I had a conversation with a fellow traveller,
a scientist, and was quite shaken when she described what her research was demonstrating
I worry about the legacy we are leaving for our children

    The ice cream looked lovely
In Bristol, when something is delicious or beautiful it is called lush.
If it’s particularly delicious it’s gert lush

I worry too . . but have to shake out of it to think positive. I hope we can change things . . and also adapt.
