today was a day of doing laundry and running to several stores and stocking up on a few grocery items. lisa-lou ran about getting ingredients for croque monsieur, while also sight-seeing . . weather-wise it was very grey and misty; rather gloomy feeling. (it's also been more humid and warm and in the 60's.)
the croque monsieur was delicious (the main ingredients were from murray's which has the best cheese and ham) as was the leftover butternut squash soup we had with it. afterwards we perused several books about the village . . and listened to a few lou reed and neil young songs . .
and played a third round of may i . . morgan went out again for the second time and is leading with the low score of 10, followed by greg, lisa-lou and me.
at night i fell asleep listening to the yankees game. they lost to the houston astros, 6 to 5.
We have had gorgeous days here. We raked leaves today, but there are still so many more to rake! Does Lisa-Lou speak English?
ReplyDeleteYes, her English is quite good, and it's nice to hear Morgana speak French with her. We've had grey days but Thursday is supposed to be sunny. It was humid today and quite warm . . about 68 degrees.
