our courtyard is wonderfully green now, perfect for the current humidity level. it's shady and quiet and peaceful to walk through. i'm grateful for it. the dog days are here, with temperatures in the upper 80's to low 90's and the humidity in the 80's also (sometimes it climbs into the 90's, making it feel like a steam bath). chanda complained enough that i put the heat pump/air conditioner on, so we're not so bad.
Our humidity is also bad, we had another storm today and almost a flooded garage/basement again! I am glad you get to cool off a bit. We have our fans running . . .
ReplyDeleteWe had that same terrible storm. It wiped out all the restaurants with outdoor seating. It poured and flashed and thundered. I hope your basement and garage stay dry!
DeleteThey did stay dry. Miriam and Veronika got caught in the storm. They were out for a walk. Luckily, a lady we know spotted them while driving by and brought them home.
