a quiet monday

 janet made me the loveliest birthday lunch . . 

 which we ate in her shady green yard, under the mulberry tree.

 these are all her own handmade beautiful pottery dishes . . 

we ended with a delicious lemon tart. it was an incredibly peaceful afternoon.
