the here now space that myak yarn uses for its parties and workshops is just a few blocks from me, so i often attend their events. last year i went to the pre-vogue knitting live event and had a fun time and also made several new knitting friends. this year when the tickets went on sale, one of the new friends asked if i would be going again. i quickly bought two tickets for korrina and i and answered back, yes!
myak displays their yarn via finished sweaters, scarves and shawls . .
i think korrina was feeling a little tired after the busy day, so it was nice to sit and knit, and eat and talk with others about yarn and projects.
she's working on a shawl with mini skeins from her sweet sparrow yarns advent calendar.
the table on the left was very busy with party-goers as they were helping everyone make earrings . .
