my sister and her family have been traveling in norway for the past two weeks, visiting my brother-in-law's cousins. on saturday my nephew arrived in paris to tour the city with morgana. they visited the louvre and monet's waterlilies . .
and notre dame. my nephew then flew to florida to return to work in the everglades . .
and i think the day after he left, my sister and brother-in-law arrived for their turn touring with morgana. they traipsed about paris, eating at a special cafe i know morgana had been planning on and looking forward to . . maybe she'll send me a pic from there one day . . and seeing the school where she studied french (not far from notre dame and shakespeare and company) and then settling in their airbnb in the latin quarter, which i helped to pick out for them. i hope to see some photos of that! this all happened on monday . .
de rigeur eiffel tower pics . .
boat ride on the seine . .
at shakespeare and company . .
taking a photo of the beautiful flower beds . .
on tuesday they visited giverny . . home of claude monet. my sister was really looking forward to this!
the house and grounds look beautiful in these photos . .
i can't wait to see them when they return and hear all about their adventures.
maybe i'll be able to add a few anecdotes to these pics after a visit to connecticut . .

i published a post, which you can access here, about morgana's play which opened june 20th in our courtyard.

These pictures are so beautiful! So nice they could all meet. I thought Morgana was in London, no?
ReplyDeleteShe was, but traveled to Paris for a few days to meet up with her cousin and aunt and uncle!
DeleteI see. Is she in London for good now?
DeleteHello Eva. Yes, she is now enrolled in a collaborative theatre master's program at the rose bruford school. she's very excited and has begun reading her textbooks already.
DeleteParis holds a very special place in our hearts, those photos are beautiful and how lovely that Morgana was able to spend time with family ❤️❤️
