hot cross buns, zuzu and vintage napkins

 

i've been enjoying hot cross buns from two different bakeries in the neighborhood. chanda brought one back for me from a cafe pop up at the restaurant she works as a barista for. their morning cafe has been closed for the winter but will reopen the first weekend of april. it was open one day this month because they had a client who wanted to rent it out for an event. 

i'm sending a photo of zuzu's belly to the animal medical center for them to check how her incision has healed. it's looking very good and i think we'll be able to take the onesie off.

morgan has been collecting lovely vintage napkins from neighborhood charity shops and cleaning and ironing them to use as wedding favors with candied almonds inside for the wedding in the summer.

morgan has also been making napkins with sale fabric from the charity shops . . i believe wedding attendees would be able to choose one to use for the sit down meal.
