gifts and games

the magnolia tree outside our window is blooming.

we received a package from morgan who had made these beautiful cloth hot plate holders. the colors aren't very springlike because it was actually mailed on december 13th!

i'm amazed it actually got here.

we played clue this evening and there was some contention over the rules (should everyone show what cards they had that were mentioned, or just the player to the left of the person whose turn it was), but we managed to finish the game peacefully.
