the tiger day lilies are in bloom. my birthday must be approaching . . also my cousin's birthday on the 17th, and aurélien's on the 30th.
morgan and i missed each other's phone calls, but i received this photo today. it was taken while they were waiting for the bus home from work. it's a statue of rudolf nureyev.

Do you know where that statue is? I kind of think we have seen it, but it might have been a different dancer. Our tiger lilies are not blooming yet. It has been very cold here, even the heat went on! Do bad you missed her phone call. Do you have any plans for your birthday?
ReplyDeleteI haven't made plans for my birthday yet . . and I can't believe how cold it was by you! Also, I'll have to ask about the statue location :)
DeleteI gave you some ideas on my blog when you mentioned your birthday in the comment section :). It is supposed to get very hot next week, though!
DeleteDid you find out about the location?
DeleteGot the ideas! Haven't heard back yet about the statue.
DeleteAny news?
DeleteHello Eva, Morgana says the statue was by the Tate Britain.
DeleteOh, then I am thinking of a different one. I think the one I am thinking of is on the other side of the Thames.
DeleteIt's actually called "Jete" and was sculpted by Enzo Plazzotta.
DeleteThanks! I tried to find a blog post where I posted a picture of the dance statue I vaguely remember, but I cannot find it! I just remember it was south of the Thames.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to mention it to Morgana to see if she remembers seeing anything . . in that area.
DeleteDid you ask her?
DeleteI sent an email . . do you think it could have been by The Globe? or the New Tate?
DeleteI thought somewhere close to Southwark Cathedral.
