easter sunday

sunrise service

the brass band was playing one of my favorite hymns . . 

for the beauty of the earth

for the glory of the skies

for the love which from our birth

over and around us lies;

lord of all, to thee we raise

this our hymn of grateful praise.

jason had been awake even earlier, for a sunrise service on a mountaintop in vermont . .

morgan had been out early also . . choreographing for a friend's film . . 

and called us while walking to the train for home . .

toby was waiting for us when we returned . . 

greg had made coffee and was getting ready to have an egg he had found . . 

getting out the kringler . .

hunting for the last, seemingly elusive, easter egg . . 

time for a walk . . this pic was taken to show morgan these sneakers . . because morgan has the same ones?

and time to hunt for gifts . . 

i was so busy having a conversation with kathy that i didn't notice greg had walked right by his gift . .

chanda had set up the zoom meeting call . . 

it was nice to wish each other a happy easter and catch up on everyone's news.

the table is set with the special occasion dishes . .
