a visit to the town of chester . .
we visited several art galleries . .
these wood slabs were enormous . . i think they were intended to be made into tables and desks.
the house was quite old with beautiful wood floors and that 1700/1800 wood aroma . .
we came across an old model t ford . .
the owner was in the process of cranking it up and said the car was from 1925 . .
the artist is now 91 years old . .
the copper plate with very fine etchings . .
such delicate work . .
there was also beautiful basketry, made by the woman we saw outside with her grandson whose model t we saw drive away . .
we ate our sandwiches by the connecticut river and the goodspeed opera house . .
----
after a dinner of stuffed shells and broccoli salad, we prepared the easter meal of bean casserole and a spiral ham . .
italian cookies and leftover pie for dessert.
----
earlier in the day, morgan had sent over photos from a rehearsal they had (choreographing for a film):
or maybe this is from the play they're working on . . i think there are two projects . . a play and a film!
