after work, greg and i decided to have dinner at pepe rosso to celebrate forty years together (june 14th, 1986). he had a vegetarian pasta and i had the grilled salmon with broccoli (it was so tender and delicious!).
we also had their homemade strawberry sorbetto and vanilla ice cream with flourless chocolate cake for dessert - delizioso! i can't believe it's been forty years since he left the marine corps and joined me at school in santa barbara. time! it teases and overwhelms sometiimes.
Congratulations! Peter and I celebrated 30 years in May and July. My little sister was born in 1986, and I flew to Canada to live in B.C. as an exchange student for a year :).
