sunday advent breakfast

the first light of advent is the light of stones,
light that lives in seashells, in crystals and in bones.
the second light of advent is the light of plants,
plants that reach up to the sun and in the breezes dance.
the third light of advent is the light of beasts,
light of hope that shines in the greatest and the least . .

greg and i did more re-organizing and de-cluttering this afternoon before i met my friend for dinner and the nutcracker show. greg said that it's more like re-arranging deck chairs on the titanic.

  1. Thanks for sharing this poem, your St Lucy buns looked delicious. I hope you managed to find a home for all those crafts 🙂 It will be lovely for you to see Morgana. Much love San x

    1. You're welcome San :) My friend Janet and I are now trying to figure out a time to have friends at her place to do some crafting . . so, hopefully the remnants will get used up and I'll finish others and hang them on the tree.

  2. Ah, that reminds me, we have to add the animals to our nature table. With being gone so many days, I am falling behind with keeping up our table. Do you like that songbook? We don't have that one, but two others.

    1. Yes, it's one of my favorite songbooks, and the one we use the most.
