neighborhood excursion

 morgana and i had a fun time traipsing about the neighborhood today . . we stopped at grounded for christmas presents . . 

 specifically some green tea . . 

 and walked to the yarn store in the east village to buy two skeins of manos del uruguay for a new afghan project.

 at cafe himalaya . . a small place on first street that morgana has eaten at before . .

 this tea was incredibly delicious . . it was salty and sweet and milky and we have no idea what the specific ingredients were (was there butter? what kind of tea?).

 for lunch we had chicken curry and ate every bite . . we were so hungry.

it was starting to get dark as we neared home . .
